Dear Lehigh faculty and staff,

A campus-wide power outage occurred this morning around 10:40 a.m., which affected connections to several Lehigh services, including campus wireless, the Lehigh VPN, and Remote Desktop connections to office computers. These services have been restored. However, if you were connected to your office computer via Remote Desktop at the time of the outage, it is possible your computer did not automatically restart and you cannot reconnect to it again.

In an effort to extend support for faculty and staff working from home, Library and Technology Services has created a virtual desktop environment called LUapps Virtual Desktop that provides faculty and staff with a remote computing experience similar to their Lehigh University office computer, including access to the H: drive, J: Drive, I: Drive, Microsoft Office, Argos, and Banner-related functions.

Please be aware that the LUapps Virtual Desktop is a shared resource environment. If you are not sure whether LUapps Virtual Desktop will satisfy your remote working needs, please contact the LTS Help Desk at 610-758-4357 (8-HELP)  | Text 610-616-5910 | helpdesk@lehigh.edu | Chat

If you would like to test LUapps Virtual Desktop, follow these access instructions.
